Esa misma question me asalta siempre.
Shoe Size Introduction
It is inevitable that, as people have been wearing shoes for centuries, the UK Shoe Sizes are based on ancient measurements - hands and barleycorns! A hand equates to four inches and this measurement is still used for measuring horses. A barleycorn is one third of an inch. Therefore 12 barleycorns make one hand. A child’s shoe size 1 is one hand and one barleycorn. Shoe sizes go up one corn for each size - until child size 13, when the next size up is an adult size 1.
Shoe Size Conversion
For our men's range of shoes, the table below gives an approximate conversion.
The measurements given in the table are for the last size and NOT the foot size. The last size is approximately 1.8 cm longer than the foot for which the shoe will fit.
ie LAST SIZE (cm) = FOOT LENGTH (cm) + 1.8
For those customers 'down under' in Australia, the men's UK size is identical to the men's Australian size. (NB: This only applies to Australian men's sizes and not Australian ladies' sizes).
For the most part, manufacturers and many retailers would suggest that a US size 8 was equivalent to a UK size 7.5; however Sanders & Sanders's experience is that their US customers should choose a full size larger than the UK size. We display the US sizes that are recommended by both Cheaney and Sanders.
In most Continental European countries, the traditional shoe size is the length of the last, measured in Paris points. A Paris point is two-thirds of a centimetre.
So, to summarise, the last is approximately 1.8 cm longer than the foot for which the shoe will fit.
ie the Last Size (cm) = Foot Length (cm) + 1.8
and the European shoe size (Paris Points) = Last Size (cm) x 3/2.

Shoe Width
Mens Shoes in the UK assume that a "standard british foot" is an F fitting. However, in order to accommodate variations in foot size, alternative width fittings are available:
Narrow Fitting shoes - UK E Fitting (in the old days known as Fitting 5). In the USA, this is known as a C Fitting.
Slightly narrower than Average Fitting - UK EX or E+ Fitting (this fitting is halfway between the Narrow E Fitting and the Average F Fitting).
Standard or Average - UK F Fitting (in the old days known as Fitting 6). In the USA, this is known as a D Fitting.
Slightly wider than Average Fitting - UK FX or F+ Fitting (this fitting is halfway between the Average F Fitting and the Wide G Fitting). In the USA, this is known as a D+ Fitting.
Wide Fitting Shoes - UK Fitting G (in the old days known as Fitting 7). In the USA, this is known as an EE Fitting.
Slightly wider than Wide Fitting - UK GX Fitting (this fitting is halfway between the Wide G Fitting and the Extra Wide H Fitting).
Extra Wide Fitting Shoes - UK Fitting H (in the old days known as Fitting 8). In the USA, this is known as an EEEE Fitting.
As a shoe increases in size, the length and width both increase. A size 8F shoe is therefore one size bigger and one size wider than a size 7F shoe. A size 7G shoe is a size wider than a size 7F - in other words the width of the shoe would roughly correspond to a size 8F.
In the table below the 11E, the 10F, the 9G and 8H would all be roughly the same width.

Zespa talla grande
https://www.opumo.com/magazine/zespa-sizing-guide/
Key Points to consider:
- Zespa fit one size large. Take one size smaller than normal
- Zespa are only available in full sizes. If you normally wear a half size, buy a pair half a size smaller.
